Dark Urine

The usual color of the urine is light yellow to amber – anything out of this range can represent some kind of problem. Constipation

Lack of water in the body can lead to constipation. When dehydrated, the body starts “borrowing” water from every organ and body part so it can stay hydrated and this includes the colon as well. Hunger And Weight Gain

Our bodies don’t really know the difference between hunger and thirst. The hypothalamus is the brain part that regulates thirst and hunger. When dehydrated, the hypothalamus can get confused and mistake thirst for hunger, making you eat more often which will definitely lead to weight gain.

Dry Mouth And Constant Thirst

Constant thirst and dry mouth are the two most obvious symptoms of dehydration.

Headaches

Lack of water in the body means that it’s going to start absorbing water from every body part, leading to the shrinkage of the brain tissue. This will make the brain pull away from the skull and trigger pain sensors which will cause headaches. At the same time, dehydration will also make your blood volume drop down due to the lack of oxygen delivered to the brain, dilating the blood vessels and causing even more painful headaches.

Fatigue

Mild dehydration can cause fatigue as the heart needs to work harder in order to pump blood to all the organs and tissues. So, whenever you’re feeling tired, skip the coffee and just drink more water.

Joint Pain

Water is a lubricant for our joints which keeps them in shape and healthy, so lack of it is sure to cause joint pain. Not enough water in the body will make the joints dry and rob them of nutrients, which will damage the cartilage and cause serious problems.

Weakened Immune System

The lack of water in the body will definitely allow more toxins to accumulate in the blood, resulting in a weaker immune system. This will make you more prone to infections and various ailments.
